I was quite taken by the royal wedding madness of this past weekend, I must be a bigger fan than I even realise. I absolutely adored Meghan's simple yet incredibly elegant look. Natural make-up, that allowed her freckles to shine through. Her glowing skin with a slightly dewy rose blush and defined eye was absolute perfection in my opinion.

Get The Look...

My favourite part about this make-up is that the skin is kept super clean and fresh with very little foundation or coverage. To get that glow, apply a small amount of MAC Strobe Cream Goldlite, buffed into the skin. Next use a foundation with a very light coverage, my favourites are MAC Face & Body or Chanel Vitalumiere. Concealer is an important part of this look, used to cover any marks, spots or redness that the light foundation doesn't cover. Also used under the eyes to lift any dark circles. Something like Corrector from Bobbi Brown would do the trick.

To get that rosy glow on the cheeks use something creamy, I would say Bobbi Brown Cheek and Lip Tint in Rose is the perfect natural blush colour. This colour can also be used on the lips for that romantic pink pout.

Eyes take centre stage for this minimal look. Create a soft smokey eye using a matte brown eyeshadow, line the lash line with a brown eyeliner for extra definition and finish with a set of natural false lashes, something like the Cheryl Lashes from Eylure or individual lashes to bulk up the lash

Meghan's eyebrows are defined and filled in naturally with a brown that is slightly lighter than her hair colour, this is a good trick to follow to soften the face. Try MAC Eye Brows in Lingering for Brunettes and Fling for blondes.
